Catwalk is a tech house track that walks boldly along the edge between club culture and sonic experimentation. The groove intertwines with unconventional textures, maintaining the drive and functionality of the dancefloor while daring to explore unexpected acoustic territories.
The rhythmic structure is built entirely with TipTop Audio modules emulating the classic 909 drum machine. Layered on top is a secondary rhythmic line, performed live with a handcrafted instrument made from recycled materials (metal, plastic, and discarded circuits), introducing organic, raw, and percussive elements that give the groove a tribal, almost artisanal character.
The bassline is born from the extreme manipulation of no-input feedback from an analog mixer, sampled and processed to create a sound that is deep, gritty, unstable, and alive.
In contrast to the mechanical energy of the rhythm, vocal fragments and aquatic sounds emerge, generated by artificial intelligence algorithms and processed using RAVE (Realtime Audio Variational autoEncoder) within a Max/MSP environment. These elements float through the sonic space like digital specters: synthetic voices that feel human, artificial splashes of water that breathe like ambient textures, bringing air and depth to the mix.
Catwalk is a sonic runway on the edge of the unknown, where each experimental element moves with elegance between artifice and instinct, between the precision of the machine and the unpredictability of the human gesture. A club track for those who seek, on the dancefloor, a journey beyond the beat.

In July 2018 I was at Tomorrowland and Timmy Trumpet said: “now is the time for you to tell me fuck you!” and all in chorus said “Fuck you!” many times. At that moment was the inspiration of the song. I thought that the energy of melbourne bounce was the best style to remake this effect. I spoke to Giada and she was excited to resume producing another song together. This track was supposed to realised in May 2020 but unfortunately we have postponed everything for Covid-19.

A rise up is a flight without rhythmic structures in front of the mix, stop, and go straight with a bass house track. “We are Prostitute” by Crookers in the first part is my source of inspiration. The drop is my voice with a text found on a WhatsApp conversation with Camilla who is a vegetarian. I thought that I had already distorted a song enough so on part B I used Bass House sounds of Axwell and Ingrosso like “Dark River” as much as possible.
